Active bid for over-55s sales


FIRSTChoice is targeting energetic travellers in the over-55s market with a new range of activities.



Cycling, extensive walking and line dancing have all been introduced to the Leisurely Days programme in addition to more gentle pastimes such as bingo and tea dances.



The brochure has also been livened up to reflect the changing market.



Head of product marketing Kyle Haughton said: “The older generation of today are more street-wise than they were. They were fans of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and have more life in them.”



Gran Canaria is a new destination for the programme, while the number of hosted clubs have been increased to 21. Line dancing clubs are featured in the Costa del Sol, Tenerife and Tunisia.
