THE Scottish Passenger Agents’ Retail Consortium has recruited two-branch agency Universal Travel.
It brings membership to 45 and the number of branches to 73.
SPARC chief executive Ken McLeod said agencies are beginning to recognise they need to belong to a larger body. “It they don’t they will be left in the cold,” he said.
Universal has branches in Glasgow and Kirkintilloch.
McLeod said he was currently talking to two further Scottish agents about joining the consortium.
