Flights departing Glasgow airport were temporarily suspended this morning due to severe weather conditions.
Snow fell in Scotland overnight as cold temperatures made their way across the north of the UK.
The airport took to social media shortly after 9am on Friday, December 29, to inform passengers of the suspension of flights and advise them to contact their airlines for more details.
Around an hour later, its winter operations team had cleared snow from the runway, taxiways and passenger walkways. They will remain on standby throughout the day.
