ITT takes 165 registrations for conference

The Institute of Travel and Tourism has taken 165 registrations for its 2009 conference within a week of going on sale.

Within two days the ITT had taken more than 100 registrations for the event on June 8-10 at the InterContinental Hotel, Festival City, Dubai. The TWgroup is the exclusive trade media partner.

The event is limited to 400 delegates, with all companies other than corporate partners or sponsors limited to two delegates each. Chairman Steven Freudmann said: “Clearly we will be sold out soon.”

Organisers are allowing delegates to arrange their own flights if they do not want to use ITT rates for Virgin and Royal Brunei Airlines, however all attendees must stay at the InterContinental Hotel, Festival City. Hotel rates are 30% less than the property’s best rates but the conference package is around £150 more expensive per person than this year.
