The Co-operative Travel has confirmed it is likely to make an official announcement about the launch of its tour operation in January.
The group said it was “still in negotiations” over the launch which is expected late in 2009.
A spokesman for the group said: “Our intention is to make an announcement in January and probably in May announce more details of what the tour operation is.”
