Travel agent commission is to be paid for bookings with private driver service Blacklane.
Agents can register on Blacklane’s website to book transportation via the company’s apps or through distribution partners.
These include the Amadeus, Travelport, Sabre GDSs and the Amadeus Selling Platform.
Blacklane for Travel Agents lets agents reserve one-way and hourly professional rides in less than a minute for travellers in more than 250 cities and 50 countries.
Co-founder and chief executive Jens Wohltorf said: “Hundreds of travel agents use Blacklane each month without commissions.
“Their customers desire the quality, safety and affordability that define our service.
“It’s only natural to reward all travel agents worldwide who trust us with their clients’ travels.”
Agents are also being offered a 20% discount to familiarise themselves with the service.
Blacklane surveyed tens of thousands of travel agents last year. A top demand was value for the service.
A price comparison across 20 major cities found its rates are on average 54% less than legacy limousine prices.
The company did not disclose the level of commission it plans to pay.
A Blacklane spokesman said: “Our competitive rates are negotiable based on factors such as volume and geography.”
