Turkish Airlines achieved its highest ever April load factor at 83.2% as passenger carryings soared.
The number of people flying with the airline last month rose by 15% to 6.4 million.
The load factor increased by 4.1 percentage points year-on-year despite capacity growing by more than 6%.
Excluding transit passengers, number of international carryings went up by 30% in the month.
“This has been an important indicator of the continued growing interest in Turkey,” the flag carrier said.
Total carryings in the first four months of the year rose by 24% to 23 million over the same period in 2017 with the load factor up by 5.8% to 81.2%.
