Emirates is laying 33 extra flights from Dubai to Jeddah and Medina next month for pilgrims travelling to the Holy City of Mecca for Hajj.
More than 4,000 passengers from the UK have booked so far to travel for Hajj from the seven airports Emirates’ operates.
The airline will also be deploying a two-class Airbus A380 superjumbo to Jeddah on August 5-14, returning pilgrims back to Dubai and their onward connections from August 26-31.
The two-class A380 will offer 58 fully-flat beds in business class and 557 economy seats.
The additional flights from August 6 to 31 will run in parallel with Emirates’ regular services to Jeddah and Medina.
The additional flights are available to travellers holding a valid Hajj visa.
Top inbound destinations Emirates is expecting Hajj pilgrims to come from are Pakistan, Senegal, the US, UK, Australia, Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Nigeria.
