London travel agency peoplestravel is to host a series of events themed around exotic cities this month.
Peoplestravel, which opened in Baker Street in October last year, is inviting holidaymakers to visit the store for a taste of far flung destinations.
The agency will explore destinations including Mozambique, Sri Lanka, Macau and Vietnam using traditional dance, music, art and scenic landscapes. Visitors will also have the chance to sample snacks and drinks from the destinations. The events run from April 20 to 30.
Since opening, peoplestravel has set out to transform the traditional travel agency. Brochure racks and computer desks have been replaced by sofas where customers can browse through holiday ideas and source deals on wireless laptops.
Managing director Joe Wong said: “Since opening last year we have been delighted with the response from the travel industry and customers alike who have understood our aim to provide a relevant high street venue utilising all the advantages that modern technology can provide to inspire holidaymakers in a comfortable environment.”
