Accommodation wholesaler Stuba, a recent merger between getabed and roomsXML, has launched a new website.
Stuba says the new site offers “first of its kind, next generation functionality” based on travel agent feedback.
It claims the website’s speed and ease of use is “superior to many others in the marketplace”.
Clients have been redirected from the roomsXML website to Stuba since July 16, with getabed’s agents to be directed from September.
Stuba says it has been working on improved commercial deals with hotel partners since the merger, working with new suppliers and hotel chains to give “wider access to inventory with very competitive pricing”.
Agents have kept the same account management teams they had with the two wholesalers before the merger.
Chief executive Ruchir Bang said: “We have worked very hard to ensure as smooth a transition as possible to Stuba and we are all extremely proud with the launch and the many benefits it will bring to all of our clients, both large and small.
“The merger really is gaining momentum every day, which means all of our trade partners will reap the benefits sooner rather than later. We’ve spoken to a number of our partners and everyone’s feedback has been extremely positive, which we are delighted with. All that remains for us to say is that it’s very much business as usual – only better; putting our customers at the heart of everything we do”.
