Jetset has made a £50,000 donation to global water charity Just A Drop.
The amount given is a nod to the trade-only tour operator’s 50th anniversary, which it celebrates this year.
Chairman John Bond, pictured, handed over the cheque earlier this month, with Jetset having sponsored the annual Just A Drop golf day this year.
The money will be used by Just a Drop to support a health clinic in Uganda, and could help tens of thousands of people.
“We wanted to mark the occasion [Jetset’s 50th anniversary], and we have supported Just A Drop for nearly 15 years. They are dealing with so many different challenges and making a real difference.
“Just A Drop is a trade charity, which has an impact worldwide, so it’s important to us – and we are quite proud that we are able to make this donation.”
