Jet2 expands CityBreaks programme for winter 2019/2020

The Jet2CityBreaks programme has been expanded with a 17% rise in capacity – meaning there are 675,000 seats on sale next winter.

New routes include Budapest from Birmingham and Krakow from Glasgow make it Jet2holidays’ biggest ever Winter City Breaks programme.

More flights and city break packages have been added to nine cities, including Prague, Rome and Venice.

The announcement comes a week after Jet2holidays launched its winter sun 2019/2020 programme.

Both the new routes will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

A 15% increase in capacity to Prague means there are more than 130,000 seats on Jet2.com services from Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.

Capacity to Krakow has increased by more than 30%, with over 110,000 seats on sale next winter, from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.

To Rome there will be more than 115,000 seats on sale, with up to 15 weekly services from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.

A capacity increase of more than 30% to Budapest means more than 110,000 seats on sale and up to 12 weekly services from Birmingham, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford and Manchester.

More flights have also been added, to destinations including Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Nice and Venice.
