Iata suspends agency from BSP

North London travel agency Lee’s Travel has been suspended from Iata’s billing and settlement plan (BSP) after missing a payment.

Airline association Iata confirmed the suspension on Wednesday (October 17). Lee’s Travel also trades as Forever Cruises, Oz Flights and Fly Club.

An Iata spokesman said: “Lee’s Travel has been suspended from the BSP pending a request to pay outstanding amounts owed.

“We remain at Lee’s Travel disposal to assist them to fulfil their obligations to airlines and pay the debt as quickly as possible.”

No one from Lee’s Travel was available for comment.

Lee’s Travel is a member of the Abta travel association and was founded 47 years ago.

The agency is licensed to carry almost 5,000 Atol-protected passengers in the 12 months to next March.
