TRAVELSCENE has launched a leaflet featuring breaks to European Christmas markets for the first time.
The move follows the increased demand for festive trips to Germany and Austria last year.
The operator refused to reveal precise figures but said demand for weekend shopping trips to both countries was up 30% last year.
Vienna and Munich are the top two destinations.
The Christmas ’99 brochure features 17 markets in seven countries – Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Denmark.
Three nights’ bed and breakfast at the three-star Hotel Roter Hahn in Vienna costs £275 per person throughout November through to December 14.
This includes return flights with British Airways.
