Qatar Airways is upgrading services from Manchester and Gatwick this winter.
Flights from Manchester airport to Doha will switch from an Airbus A350 to a more spacious Boeing 777 this month.
The frequency of flights from Gatwick is being raised from 14 to 16 flights a week.
The route, served by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, was re-introduced in May and is the carrier’s sixth UK gateway.
The airline is also tweaking services from other European countries, including Finland and Sweden.
The airline increased the frequency of its flights to Vienna, Zurich, Copenhagen, Madrid, Warsaw and Rome earlier this year.
Group chief executive Akbar Al Baker said: “We invite all passengers to enjoy the additional capacity and flexibility provided by these aircraft upgrades and increased frequencies.
“We are dedicated to giving our customers more choice and flexibility when planning their business and leisure trips to and from Europe, enabling them to connect seamlessly at Hamad International airport to more than 160 global destinations.
“We now provide direct services to more than 50 European cities, and our European route network is expanding rapidly.”
