Virgin Voyages’ debut ship Scarlet Lady will sail four and five-night itineraries in Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican Republic during its maiden season.

Diana Block Garcia, Virgin Voyages’ vice president of itinerary and destination development, said the choice of destinations had been driven by research conducted with its target passengers, who the fledgling line said wanted “a variety of experiences”.
She added: “We have composed itineraries that have a sense of palpable culture, history and above all induce that carefree feeling that you only get while on holiday.”
