ELEGANT Hotels Group has appointed travel industry veteran Ann Adenius as its new sales and marketing director for the UK and Europe.
Adenius will replace John Pritchard, who has left the company “to pursue other career opportunities,” and will report to chief executive officer Robert Scavone.
Before Adenius joined Elegant, she was vice-president sales and marketing worldwide for Odyssey Resorts International. Previously she was director of strategic alliances for Disneyland Paris and in various senior sales, marketing and management positions for British Airways.
She will be responsible for developing the European sales and marketing strategy and will manage a team of 11 UK-based staff.
