Eurostar resumed restricted services this morning after three days of suspension due to bad weather.
Trains will run from 7.30am to 6.00pm but tickets will only be accepted from customers who were originally booked to travel on December 19 or 20.
A statement from Eurostar said: “We continue to strongly advise customers whose journeys are not essential not to travel and to change their tickets for travel on a later date or have their tickets refunded.”
Customers holding tickets for December 21 and 22 will be eligible for travel on December 23. Customers holding tickets for December 23 and 24 will be eligible for travel on December 24.
Also, both Gatwick and Luton airports have reopened following closures yesterday, although flights are liable for delays and cancellation.
