Three-branch agency Owen’s Travelmaster is switching consortia from Advantage to become a member of Worldchoice.
The company runs branches in Oswestry, Newtown and Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Owen’s of Oswestry Coaches, part of the business that focuses on coach holidays, will continue to operate separately outside of the Worldchoice membership.
Vanessa Bird, general manager of Owen’s Travelmaster, who has led the business since 1999, said: “Changing consortia has not been a quick decision for us, but we felt it was time for a change.
“With Worldchoice we feel that the chemistry with the team was right from the outset and that their proposition is the right one for us moving forward.”
Gary Lewis, CEO of The Travel Network Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome the ten-strong team at Owens Travelmaster to Worldchoice.
“Vanessa runs a strong and well-respected full-service independent travel business that has a very loyal customer base.
