Regent Seven Seas has appointed a former employee in a newly-created trade marketing manager role and promoted three current employees.
Sam Deadman, who previously worked for the luxury line from 2011 to 2016, is responsible for all trade marketing activity and will work closely with Regent’s sales department and international trade marketing manager.
She came back to work for the line in July last year as maternity cover before taking up her permanent role.
Previously, Deadman worked as a marketing and PR manager at The Bell Inn in the New Forest.
Regent has also made a number of promotions in its Southampton office.
Paul Beale has been promoted from head of sales UK to senior director of sales UK, while Ed Lang has been promoted to senior tour operators and groups manager.
Caroline Smith has been promoted to senior director for international marketing from her previous role as international marketing director.
Graham Sadler, the line’s UK managing director, said: “Regent Seven Seas Cruises is a company that recognises and rewards its employees for their hard work.
“I am thrilled that we can celebrate Caroline, Ed and Paul’s successes with these well-deserved promotions.
“I am also delighted to be working with Sam again, and am very excited at the prospect of increasing our engagement with the travel trade.
“With the launch of Seven Seas Splendor [in 2020] it’s really important for us to tell them of the benefits of working with Regent, not least because we offer some of the highest commission margins in the cruise industry.”
