Mark Bloxham has been promoted to marketing director at Teletext Holidays and joined its board.

Bloxham joined the company in October last year as head of marketing having held senior marketing positions in social media agencies, the financial services, recruitment and leisure industries.

Managing director Victoria Sanders said: “We are entering a new era and it’s great time to be involved in developing a new strategic direction for the brand.

“Mark’s new role on the board is important as we look to engage with our customers and clients through market leading technology as we drive more business online.

“At the same time we are building partnerships with other retail brands such as Tesco which take us onto the high street for the first time.”

Bloxham added: “The Teletext Holidays brand has become synonymous with good value last-minute travel deals.

“We are a trusted and objective voice in the market and that gives us a huge opportunity to talk to customers directly through social networks and e-marketing and migrate them from some of the more traditional platforms.”
