Thomson and First Choice have today both launched online currency services.
Customers can order 65 different currencies and travellers’ cheques from around the world with next day home delivery available for orders made before 3pm by visiting either thomson.onlinecurrency.co.uk or firstchoice.onlinecurrency.co.uk.
The service is being operated by ICE (International Currency Exchange).
TUI Travel UK & Ireland distrbution director Nick Longman said: “Our customers want convenience, security and ease of access to their travel money.
“This online foreign exchange facility will allow holidaymakers the opportunity to securely purchase their currency at a competitive rate, without even leaving home. We’re confident it will be a welcome addition to our current services.”
