The Chloe and Liam Together Forever Trust has released a video showing some of the young people it has helped to follow their ambitions in sport and the performing arts.
The charity was set up by family and friends of teenage sweethearts Chloe Rutherford and Liam Curry who lost their lives in 2017’s Manchester Arena bombing.
Among the trust supporters is Westoe Travel, the South Shields travel agency where Chloe was an apprentice.
The 11-minute video explains how Chloe had been a talented singer and Liam had been a keen sportsman.
It shows pictures and clips of young people in the northeast region who have received funding from the trust – and gives the youngsters a chance to thank the trust.
Those who benefited compete in sports ranging from judo to athletics, tennis, boxing and skiing, while the performing arts featured in the video include drama, music and dance.
The charity helps with costs such as auditions, exams, coaching qualifications, travel expenses and equipment.
The video was shown for the first time at the recent Together Forever Trust Ball at the Hilton Gateshead, where Liam had worked.
