Eurotunnel has launched a supersaver fare which must be booked before January 7. A five-day return mini-break to France departing from the UK before 7am and after 2pm and, on the return, departing France before 2pm or after 8pm costs £89. A five-day plus trip, travelling between 7am and 2pm and coming back between 2pm and 8pm is priced at £144.
n wallace arnold appoints new general manager
Coach operator Wallace Arnold has promoted its product development manager Chris Bligh to the newly created role of general manager, marketing and development. In his new position, Bligh will assume overall responsibility for the development of Wallace Arnold’s sales and marketing strategy.
n avis teams up with BA for air miles promotion
Avis has teamed up with British Airways to offer the carrier’s Executive Club members a bonus Air Miles promotion. Until November 15, any Executive Club member who rents a car with Avis and stays at a Hyatt hotel within a three-day period will qualify for 200 extra Air Miles.
