n maersk air adds new flights to copenhagen



Maersk Air is adding almost a third more capacity to its Gatwick-Copenhagen route this winter. From November 1, there will be 18 weekly flights to the Danish capital, up five from the current schedule. The new service leaves Gatwick at 6.40am.



n air france chairman to open call centre

official open the airline’s European call centre in London this Thursday. He will be joined by the



carrier’s executive vice-president international commercial affairs Patrick Alexandre and executive vice-president Air France Europe Etienne Rachou for the Wembley opening.



n three-way alliance to end this winter



The three-way alliance between Singapore Airlines, Delta Air Lines and



Swissair will end this winter.



Shareholdings between SIA and Swissair are expected to be sold, along with an SIA investment in Delta. The move is being made before SIA joins Star Alliance.



n Chek lap kok drops charges by up to 5%



Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok airport is lowering its charges by up to 15%following sustainedcomplaints from airlines. The drop in rates will start from January.
