Editor’s comment: Travel Weekly, rebuilt with you in mind

TWgroup editor Lucy HuxleyIn the words of a rather well-known TV travel advert, your favourite travel trade magazine has been rebuilt with you in mind.

We’ve listened to what you’ve asked for, and come up with a new look and approach that gives you everything you need to know to sell more, and which reflects people, like you, who make our industry such a great place to work.

Travel Weekly is your magazine, and you’ll find that it’s packed with your stories, opinions and pictures.

You also asked us to help you keep up to speed with the latest news stories and how they affect you, and to round up product news in easy-to-find sections and features – so that’s exactly what we’ve done.

For readers who want to know the stories and issues facing the decision-makers of the industry, we’ve also introduced a section, starting on the back page, that’s packed with content from our sister website and magazine Travolution.

And it’s not just the weekly magazine that has been transformed. We’ve also given the website an exciting new look and feel.

As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve also published a bumper 100-page supplement this week as we celebrate Travel Weekly’s 40th anniversary. It’s a fun stroll through the past.

Looking ahead, we all know there are some big challenges facing our industry, but we believe everyone who sells travel needs a fresh and relevant trade magazine to prosper.

I really hope you enjoy your new-look Travel Weekly. And we’d love to know what you think – please email me at lucy.huxley@travelweekly.co.uk.
