A marketer who advises brands such as Ford, Pepsico and McDonald’s will be speaking at the Abta Travel Convention.
Josh Spear, who runs New York-based consultancy Born Digital, helps brands create strategies for deeper, lasting online relationships. His business also serves as a think-tank on the influence of technology on all aspects of human behaviour.
In his session, on the second morning of the convention, 26-year-old Spear will give an insight into what makes certain things catch on, how to position products and services to capitalise on fast-moving trends, and how to speak the language of so-called digital natives.
An Abta spokesman said: “Josh is considered one of the youngest and most influential marketing strategists in the world.
“He is sought out for his intelligent, no-holds-barred insight on everything from design to authenticity and ‘word of mouth’.”
The Travel Convention
Abta’s Travel Convention will take place at the Hilton Malta Conference Centre in St Julian’s from October 18-20. The centre is located on the Portomaso waterfront development and marina.
