Clearly Noel Josephides is a very busy man. Much too busy to check his facts before churning out another column full of his personal prejudices and assumptions.
He doesn’t know me, my team or our company and he couldn’t even pick up the phone to get the inside story. Which is why, commenting on our move to Kingston, he plumps for the trite and obvious cliche: “The despecialisation of the specialists has begun.”
No it hasn’t! Crystal has owned and managed Jersey Travel Service since 1995, and Jetsave since 1997 – before Thomson’s acquisition of Crystal International Travel Group. All three brands have since grown in terms of agent support, volumes and profits.
Moving into Kingston is a dream come true, and an improvement for our staff. In Kingston we can devote more attention to our business.
So please Noel, call us first next time. There’s always a chance some people out there may still think you know what you’re talking about!
