Cosmos Group sales director Damian Mc Donough is leaving his job just five months after starting it.
A spokeswoman said he had made the decision to leave tomorrow in order to find a job closer to his home in the north west. Following his appointment, it had been expected he would divide his time between Cosmos’ London and Stockport office.
She added: “He’s decided to look for something closer to home. He will be sorely missed.”
Mc Donough began working for the operator in February when he joined Cosmos Holidays as sales director. Following a restructure of the business, he kept the role which was extended to cover the entire group.
