At least two hotels have been evacuated and scores of holidaymakers moved as wildfires broke out on the Greek island of Samos and other parts of the country.
Hundreds have been moved from hotels and beaches as firefighters tackle dozens of wildfires across the country.
About 700 firefighters were deployed over the weekend as the fires spread, fanned by strong winds and hot, dry conditions, the BBC reported.

Authorities were forced to transfer people from hotels in Samos, with 1,000 tourists and residents told to move from popular beaches.
Images posted on social media showed clouds of smoke sweeping across the island as people were taken away by boat.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office amended its travel advice for the island, warning British holidaymakers to follow the advice of Greek authorities
“A wildfire has been reported on Samos, in Mesokampos village, which is close to Pythagorean. Two hotels have been evacuated,” the FCO said.
The country’s head of civil protection warned on Sunday of a “high risk” of fires breaking out in several areas, including the southern Peloponnese region and on Crete.
