Collette has beefed up its new trade team with two new regional sales managers.
James Howlett returns to the escorted tours specialist after a period at Uniworld to cover the north of England from October 14.
Kirsty Reid moves from Fred Olsen Cruise Lines to cover the south.
The appointments coincide with the publication of a new 2020-21 worldwide travel guide, featuring escorted tours across all seven continents.
Operations manager Simon Chambers said: “James and Kirsty not only bring experience to the role, they are also very passionate about the touring programme.
“Along with the previously announced appointments of Briony Smith as business development executive for the north and Emily Stansfield as travel support specialist, we are developing a team that will give the trade the support they need, helping to showcase the Collette and Fred.\ Holidays product portfolio.”
The expansion of the trade support team comes as Collettee rejoins ATAS.
Howlett said: “Collette is such a great product and I am looking forward to getting back out and visiting agents who I have previously worked with along with, developing new relationships.”
Reid said: “Collette is a well-known name in escorted touring and, with its core values and family heritage, I can’t wait to get started and deliver Collette back to the trade.
“There are many similarities with cruise/river cruise customers and touring customers and, with people looking more and more towards a travel experience, not just a holiday, the variety on offer through the Collette worldwide escorted touring programme is fantastic.”
