Royal Caribbean targets 600 agents in sales blitz

Royal Caribbean International has set a target of visiting more than 600 agents in a ten-day sales blitz.

A 30-strong team from the cruise line will be hitting the road on from today (Monday) the annual agency road trip.

Participants include the field sales team as well as members from the line’s UK headquarters.

The roadshow will highlight Royal Caribbean’s current booking campaign, including all-inclusive sailings and £25 deposits running until September 30.

Agents will also be reminded of a 5% hike in commission until the end of the month.

Trade partners will find out how they can win a cruise on revamped Allure of the Seas in 2020 via a quiz hosted on the company’s Club Rewards trade incentive platform.

UK and Ireland sales director Martin MacKinnon said: “We can’t wait to hit the road with our extended team for what’s set to be a phenomenal tour, meeting and sharing our passion and enthusiasm with a staggering number of trade partners.

“Our trade partners play an integral role to our company and this is an opportunity for us to show our appreciation for their continual support, while informing them of our not-to-be-missed offers for their customers and potential guests.

“The field sales team will be joined by team members from all different areas of the business and we’re all raring to go.”
