Thomas Cook jobs axed in revamp

THOMAS Cook has completed the restructure of Flying Colours and Caledonian Airways with the loss of 100 jobs.

The shake-up follows the formation of JMC Airlines which will start operations next March. Managing director Terry Soult predicted half of those made redundant would be found new positions. Soult said a further 100 jobs will be created early next year when new operations begin from Luton and Stansted.
