Travel Counsellors has announced global adventurer and TV personality Bear Grylls as keynote speaker for its 2019 annual conference.
The event, which takes place between November 15 – 17, will host up to 2,000 delegates in Manchester.
The annual conference will also mark Travel Counsellors 25th anniversary and include seminars, workshops and awards ceremony.
Grylls, who received the Order of the British Empire (OBE) award earlier this month for his services to young people, the media and charity, will make his keynote address to Travel Counsellors on Sunday.
The former SAS trooper has won two BAFTAs and written a bestselling book.
Chief executive Steve Byrne said: “This is a really exciting time for Travel Counsellors as we celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary, and having Bear with us to mark the occasion is a real honour.
“He knows all too well the importance of self-belief and motivation, no matter the odds, in driving through success. By taking initiative and trusting his instincts, he has shown how a positive mindset can be an incredibly powerful tool.
“Throughout his career Bear has travelled the world and showcased a wealth of destinations and extraordinary experiences, which as a company who supports our customers to explore the globe, is a theme we take to heart.
“We’re very much looking forward to Bear showcasing his unique insight and providing huge inspiration to our people, plus offering practical advice on how to stay motivated, focused and successful within their individual businesses.”
