A “punchy and diverse” programme is being promised for this month’s Aito annual overseas conference in Poland.
Former Liberal Democrats leader Sir Vince Cable is returning to speak at the specialist travel association’s event for a second time.
He will deliver insight on potential scenarios despite the ever-moving deadline for the UK to leave the EU and the forthcoming general election.
Other speakers confirmed include former M&C Saatchi CEO Aneil Bedi, London South Bank University professor James Woudhuysen, entrepreneur Mark Rhodes and philanthropist Craig Goldblatt.
Aito chairman Derek Moore said: “We are developing a punchy and diverse conference programme this year to match the theme of ‘What’s the future?’
“Visiting Wrocław – 2016’s European City of Culture and the newly-crowned 2019 City of Literature – is a great opportunity for Aito members to explore a potential new destination for weekend breaks and longer holidays alike.
“The Polish Tourism Organisation has been extremely supportive in its organisation of this important annual event in Aito’s calendar, and we look forward to introducing members to Wrocław at the end of this month.”
Polish Tourism Organisation chairman Robert Andrzejczyk said: “The UK is already one of Poland’s largest markets, but our country has so much to offer that we strongly believe that Poland will attract even more tourists from the UK in the future.
“The Aito conference will give UK travel industry experts the opportunity to experience the destination and we believe this will inspire them to create new holidays for their customers.”
The conference takes place on November 21-24.
