Blue Bay Travel has appointed Paul Saggar as strategic technology advisor.
Saggar joins from Capita Travel and Events where he was chief innovation officer. Prior to that he worked for Expedia and Lastminute.com.
Blue Bay Travel managing director Maxine Rowland said: “Bringing Paul on board was a no-brainer for us. The addition of someone with over 20 years of industry experience is something we are very excited to announce.
“Developing the online side of our business model is the logical next step and with Paul’s insight and skillset, we are giving ourselves the best shot at achieving that goal.”
The online specialist said online bookings over the last year increased by 146% when compared to the same period last year.
Saggar said: “I’m really excited to be joining the fantastic team at Blue Bay Travel. They have big plans for the future, and I can’t wait to get started in helping them hit and hopefully surpass those targets.”
