TENERIFE specialist Club Travel 2000 is expected to rebrand next year after admitting the millennium will make its name redundant.
Sales and marketing director Ian Scott said the board will consider changing the brand for the winter 2000/2001 programme.
“The Club Travel 2000 brand was adopted 15 years ago to project the company forward to the new millennium,” he said.
“Now we have reached that date we need to look again at the brand to ensure it still has validity. Nothing has been decided, but we need to consider all options.”
The operator is likely to retain the Club name and simply drop the 2000 reference.
“We are often referred to simply as Club and it has good recognition in the trade,” said Scott.
