Attraction World bolsters trade team

Attraction World has expanded its trade team with two new appointments.

The theme park and attraction ticket specialist has appointed Ryan Clayton as business development executive and Zoe Whitehead as trade marketing manager.

Clayton previously worked for Thomas Cook for 14 years in various roles including sales consultant and business development manager. Whitehead joins from Polka Dot Travel where she was social media manager.

The business said it is also “seeking other talented individuals” to join the business as it looks to grow its trade sales.

The latest appointments follow those of Olly Nicholls who was made chief commercial officer in September, having joined from City Sightseeing, and Justin Mahoney who re-joined the business as commercial director in November.

In 2018 Attraction World made several roles in its sales and product teams redundant, including that of Simon Garrido who was head of sales.

The roles affected include five business development managers and head of sales, Simon Garrido.

Mahoney said: “It’s an incredibly exciting time for Attraction World, with many more developments to come later this year.

“Our new additions to the team and initiatives implemented demonstrate how critical our trade partners are to our business, and this will only become stronger as 2020 evolves.”
