UK vice president to leave cxLoyalty

Karen Wheeler, UK vice president of cxLoyalty, is to leave the business at the end of March after almost five years.

Affinion International, which owns UK call centre agency Affinion Travel, re-branded as cxLoyalty last year.

Wheeler, who oversaw the rebrand of the Advantage Travel Partnership member, confirmed she is leaving the business for personal reasons.

A replacement for her role is yet to be confirmed.

Wheeler said: “I am sad to be leaving but need to take some time to concentrate on family in the near future.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with cxLoyalty especially the opportunity to become involved in the travel industry. Having travelled extensively, to see the industry from the inside has been tremendously rewarding and I hope to continue this going forward although, in the immediate term, this may be on a temporary/contracting basis.

“I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome they have given me at the various industry events – it has been a pleasure.”
