Six killed in Cork plane crash

Six people have been killed after a small passenger plane crashed at Cork Aiport this morning.


It is understood several others have been injured.


The Manx2 commuter flight crashed on landing in fog just before 10am.


The Irish Aviation Authority says the aircraft made two attempts to land before crashing.


According to the Belfast Telegraph, witnesses reported hearing a loud bang and the aircraft is said to have burst into flames.


Debris has been scattered onto the runway and over a wide area.
