Online Travel Training has added a new tab to its website courses to give agents access to destination and supplier specific information on coronavirus.
The travel agent training provider is allowing course partners to publish information about their terms or destinations on a special coronavirus tab. The tab will appear on each course on the OTT site.
The new functionality will mean agents can find out how the outbreak is affecting a particular supplier or location in one place.
OTT is also publishing frequent updates on the situation in the UK from UKInbound on its news section. Around 65,000 travel professionals use the site.

Founder Julia Feuell said: “COVID-19 has dominated the news agenda over the past week. We want to give both partners and agents the opportunity to use the platform to share accurate and up-to-date information on this rapidly evolving situation.”
She added: “The new course tab will help our course partners to navigate any misinformation surrounding the virus and share accurate, reliable, advice direct to agents. The new functionality will also help agents save time as they can gain up-to-date information on different destinations and suppliers in one place, rather than having to undertake multiple web searches for the latest travel advice.”
