Coronavirus: Jet2holidays to issue rebooking vouchers

Jet2holidays will issue rebooking vouchers for cancelled holidays, so clients can make new bookings and agents retain their original commission.

The policy applies to Jet2holidays bookings departing in April, as all flights are suspended until at least May 1 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The operator will issue a ‘Rebook Voucher’ per booking with a unique code for agents to pass to the lead passenger on the booking.

This will be valid for redemption until June 30, 2020 and can only be redeemed through the travel agent who originally made the booking.

The original holiday will be cancelled but agents will retain the commission they have earned on the original booking.

Agents can book the new holiday by the trade website but will not earn commission on the value of the voucher as this was retained on the original booking.

Should there be any increase in the new holiday price, Jet2holidays will pay commission on the additional cost.

The operator has already issued ‘Rebook Promo Codes’ on departures in March.
