Haven owner Bourne Leisure has extended the closure of all its UK holiday parks until July 2.
Previously the holiday park operator had said its parks would be shut until May 31.
The decision to further delay the reopening of the parks is despite the slight easing of the government’s lockdown restrictions.
In a statement the company said: “The safety of our guests, owners and team members remains our number one priority and so under the ongoing circumstances, we believe keeping our parks closed is the right thing to do.
“We appreciate how disappointing this decision will be for those families that were due to stay with us during this time and wish we could have offered them the Haven experience they were so excited for.
“We’d like to apologise for the disruption caused by the extended closure and hope guests can understand the reason for our decision.”
The company said it was in the process of contacting all holidaymakers affected to offer new options and encouraged them to check its website and social media channels for additional updates.
The company added: “We look forward to welcoming everyone back to our parks as soon as we feel it’s safe to do so.”
