Advantage Travel Partnership offers £1,000 holiday for agents’ clients in ‘bucket list’ campaign

Advantage Travel Partnership is offering a £1,000 holiday prize as part of its #BucketListReboot marketing campaign to encourage more agents to engage with clients during the UK lockdown.

The travel agency consortium has put together a video, banners and wording for members to send to customers to persuade them to enter the bucket list competition.

Holidaymakers need to make a 10 to 15 second video by June 20 saying what their dream holiday is and why, and post it on social media, such as Facebook or Instagram, using #BucketListReboot and tagging their Advantage agent.

The winning video will be chosen by a panel of judges, with the winner receiving a £1,000 voucher from Advantage Holidays to spend by the end of 2021 on a holiday booked through their Advantage agent.

The #BucketListReboot competition is the latest part of the consortium’s marketing push during the coronavirus pandemic and follows a direct mail campaign to

Head of marketing David Forder said it aimed to encourage fun interaction with new and existing clients.

He said: “We understand the challenges our members are currently facing, and by encouraging them to engage with their customers with non-offer led content will ensure they remain front of mind for when the industry begins to recover.”

In a video to agent members, he added: “Not only will this help to encourage your existing customers but there is a great chance of getting more customers following your social media accounts.

“Social media will be even more important for your businesses going forward.”
