Cycling for Softies is offering a range of UK e-bike tours for the first time to tap into the anticipated increase in demand for domestic breaks.
The operator, known for offering leisurely European bike tours combined with upmarket accommodation, has introduced a selection of electric bike itineraries in Sussex and the Cotswolds.
To support this, the company has relocated its European destination managers, who transport clients’ luggage between hotels, to the UK. They will be on hand to support holidaymakers and have put together the new selection of routes.
Head of cycling Harvey Downard said: “We’ve had brilliant feedback from customers who have enjoyed our e-bike tours in France and Italy, so now seemed the perfect time to offer the same experience in the UK.
The five-night Sparkling Sussex E-bike Tour, costs from £1,395 including e-bike hire, two wine tastings, accommodation with breakfast and evening meals, and is bookable from August 1. The self-guided route takes in nearly 120 miles of countryside, starting from Ockenden Manor and including coastal and riverside paths.
Other new tours are: two and three-night Ockenden Manor E-bike Tour, from £585; two-night The Sussex Beach Break E-bike Tour, from £585; and two and three-night Thyme, Southrop E-bike Tour, from £525; all of which are single-centre tours. Also new is a four-night The Cotswolds in Comfort E-bike Tour, from £1,245, with accommodation at two boutique hotels.
Cycling for Softies offers a flexible booking policy which guarantees no amendment fees on changes to date or destination up to 12 weeks before departure and has reduced deposits to £150.
