The Pacific Asia Travel Association UK & Ireland is to run an extra virtual quiz night for travel agents following the success of its first two online events.
The virtual training, launched last month with in conjunction with TravelUni, attracted 60 agents to each event and also involved tourist boards Tourism Australia and Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Pata is holding its next quiz on Thursday June 11 from 4pm until 6pm.
The interactive quiz consists of questions across different themed rounds on the Asia Pacific region and includes questions from tourist boards or suppliers.
Agents can compete against colleagues or team up to test their product knowledge for a range of prizes.
Trade events executive for Pata UK & Ireland Sharon Anderson said: “Keeping Asia-Pacific front of mind with travel agents is priority and the quizzes are a great way for us to continue to engage and inspire them.
“We are keen to do more in this space as the appetite from suppliers has been so positive. It has also proved extremely popular with travel agents – 20 signed up for our first quiz within just half an hour of communicating the event.”
