Crystal Cruises plans autumn return

Crystal Cruises plans to resume sailing this autumn with a series of Caribbean sailings from Miami and Puerto Rico.

The ship Crystal Serenity is being deployed on two seven-night itineraries in October and November.

Travel agents are being offered £76 bonus commission for each booking on any of the six new sailings.

A £76 low deposit is being offered on the £1,314 per person, cruise-only rates in addition to $250 on board credit and a 10% discount if the itineraries are combined into a 14-day voyage.

Crystal Serenity claims one of the highest space ratios in luxury cruising and its “social spaciousness” will be further increased with a commitment to lower passenger capacity when it resumes sailing this autumn

The luxury line is developing new procedures and policies to support all public health and regulatory requirements while the fleet is paused.

Details of the new measures and initiatives will be announced soon.

A spokesperson said: “The safety of guests and crew members is Crystal’s number one priority and the fleet will resume service only when the company’s expert team and global health and government authorities indicate that it is safe to do so.”

The cruises depart from October 1 until November 5 between Miami and Jan Juan in Purto Rico, wity destinations including US Virgin Islands, Antigua, St Barts, St. Maarten, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Costa Maya in Mexico.
