Windstar outlines debut Asia season for new ship

Two core itineraries combinable in 17 different variations feature in the debut season by new Windstar ship Star Seeker in Asia.

Inland pre- and post-cruise tour programmes are part of the 2026 schedule for the vessel, which is due to enter service in December.

The ship, with 112 suites, will run two itineraries – 10 days covering Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand and an 11-day option taking in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

However, each itinerary will begin with time inland – in Hanoi, Bangkok and Phuket – unlike most cruises in the region that start and end in Singapore or Hong Kong.

“Windstar will take advantage of Star Seeker’s small size to offer a more immersive experience,” the company said.

“The small size of Star Seeker enables exclusive access to ports and docking locations that larger ships cannot reach, including sailing up rivers to dock in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok, stopping at Ko Kood for the Windstar Signature Beach Party – a port visited by only select small ships- and traveling to Krabi and Ko Yao Noi.”:

Passengers can also combine cruises into back-to-back ‘Star Collector’ sailings featuring Itineraries ranging from 20 to 41 days.

An early booking offer running until May 31 includes free Wi-Fi, gratuities, unlimited selected beer, wine, and cocktails plus up to $200 onboard credit per cabin.

Senior product manager Melissa Witsoe said: “We are thrilled to release these itineraries after many months of working with our local partners and visiting these destinations for research.

“Windstar’s investment in destination development translates into unique, local and exciting experiences for our guests.”
