Recruitment firm offers business travel training

Business travel courses will be offered by C&M Travel Recruitment in a new initiative.

A joint venture with specialist training firm Travilearn will see job seekers registered with C&M become eligible for discounts on courses and the opportunity to earn an industry specific diploma, certified by the Business Travel Association.

The scheme will launch on June 29 and will see C&M create a dedicated email helpline to answer queries.

The e-learning courses will offer online learning using videos, visuals and presentations, with each module newly updated to reflect the changes to the industry brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Travilearn was founded in 2017 by Karen McKenna, who has more than 30 years of industry experience at companies including CWT, American Express, HRG, Callisto Travel Training, Iata, City & Guilds and E Travel Advisors (ETA).

She said: “As the most prominent recruitment agency for the travel sector, partnering with C&M allows us to extend our reach to help those in-between jobs or looking to improve as part of their new career search.”

C&M Travel Recruitment and C&M Execuive Recruitment director Barbara Kolosinska said: “When we spoke to Karen, we got a real sense of Travilearn’s knowledge and passion for helping those in the industry and we could see this was a fantastic opportunity to partner with an exciting and growing training company.

“We’re delighted to be able to help those working in business travel by giving them the chance to improve their skillset and allow them to prepare for the new corporate travel environment.”
