Agents were unanimous in their praise of Celebrity Silhouette when Travel Weekly quizzed them at the ship’s Hamburg launch celebrations.
“It’s absolutely fantastic,” said Cruise 118’s James Cole. “I’ve been on Equinox, I’ve been on Eclipse, and they’ve taken things forward with Silhouette.”
Lucy Mason of Reader Offers agreed, saying: “It’s easy to market. There are so many highlights, so many unique selling points. It will just sell itself.”
Geoff Silvers of Viva Voyage said Silhouette was perfect for new-to-cruise customers. He said: “It’s very similar to the hotel chain W, very ’boutique hotel’ and not your typical cruise ship. It’s an amazing premium experience.”
